One of my friends sent me this email that had a link to some ghostly facts. I found this to be interesting and helpful. Most of the things I had already known, but it is still good to read the article. I am going to make sure my group members read this. I think that this is good information to have. I did not know this either, but I think I will take some lemons to our next investigation. Couldn't hurt, right?

The Lemon fact makes sense if you think about it. Cleaning men/ladies at haunted hotels say that while they are cleaning a room, activity is all around them. Could be the furniture polish has a lemon scent and it attracts spirits. Time to experiment I think.

Hey I agree. We investigated a haunted theatre last weekend. We cut up several lemons and placed them all around the theatre. We had some personal experiences. One of my team members saw an apparition of a man that scared the crap out of her. It was unexpected and caught her off guard. We experienced things that had not ever been reported to happen here. Could it have been the lemons???? Not sure, but it was great. We will be using lemons more often.

i was thinking about the lemon thing and i dont think it would apply to all ghost(spirits) perhaps it would apply to certain ones how ever an example the cleaning crew it would be a familiar scent and as we know smells are mnemonics lemon oil has long been used for cleaning and especially for woodwork i dont think in other hauntings that would be a trigger but in areas where the haunting is a possible housekeeping personel or even a woodworker it might help as a trigger there is nothing to indicate that this would be a wide spectrum trigger but it could account for this particular manifestation.

oh and also i went to the sight and have a comment about the ghost "dissapearing"due to cell phones here is my theory (one can argue this its just theory) first off we know that ghost sometimes require energy to manifest but certian people are more sensitive to them as some people are more sensitive to emfs right well there was an article i read recently ( i will try and find it) that said that our brains are changing because of cell phones it showed a high level of increases activity in the areas around the brain on the side where the cell phone sits next to the ear and that neurons are over firing in that zone its lit up like a christmas tree on scans so i am wondering this could this extra activity in our brain be causing us to tune the ghost out (not that they are affraid of the phones) it is proven scientificly that our brains ignore a certian amount of non usefull information (studies done with a control group) so could the area of our brain that picks up energies that are in the spirit realm be getting damaged from over use by using cell phones excessively?
